Obama Wins Iowa!! We Did It!
We did it! We won!!
It was fascinating to watch a causus taking place live on CSPAN tonight. Democracy in action is a truly beautiful thing. I am beginning to allow myself to hope again; to believe in my brothers and sisters, both here in the US, and also around the globe. My hope is for peace, justice, equality, and prosperity for everyone – everyone! This is the hope of the One Campaign that I am so passionate about, and it is also the hope of the Obama movement. The active leadership and positive participation of the One campaign was front and center on the CSPAN broadcast of the Democratic caucus at Roosevelt High School in Des Moines. Several of the key folks who were coordinating and running the precinct level logistics were wearing One wristbands and sporting OneVote08 t-shirts. We are definitely making a difference!
Fired up!! Ready to go!! This is IT folks. We are on our way.
