On January 30, Barack Obama, Senator from Illinois, offered the Iraq War De-escalation Act of 2007 to the Senate. The details of this act and the plan that Obama is proposing (yes, there is actually a plan) can be found by clicking on the link below. As I sit here writing this post, Senator Vitter, R-Louisiana, is speaking on the floor of the senate implying that the Democrats have not proposed any sort of plan. Hogwash! Biden, Feingold, and Obama have proposed several similar, but distinct plans. Let the debate commence.
